We love buttercloud, even though my dad can’t have dairy anymore, this place has been a favorite, every time we go to Medford, we try to make sure to go here. ♥️😋
If you are in town, definitely give this place a shot. I ate here for breakfast 2 days in a row when I was visiting Medford. They have a wide selection of breakfast items including in-house bakery. Their ingredients are sourced locally and were all super fresh. They are known for their biscuits and they did not disappoint. Coffee was amazing as well. Next time I visit, I will certainly return.
I have only tried a latte, a chocolate chip cookies and a pecan sticky bun so can't fully review the place yet. What I got was ok. I would never suggest it to someone else really. The sit down breakfast menu looks promising so I can't wait to try that. Overall this place is probably pretty good. I will update later when I try more
Lovely hidden gem of Medford! Excellent service and manager frequently visited nearby tables, would love to come again. Outdoor seating is a nice touch to bring your dog or enjoy a more quiet setting.
Delicious breakfast, baked goods, and drinks. So excited to discover this place. They use local vendors/ingredients whenever possible, which I love. Well-staffed and with very good people. The man who was my server (and host) really, really impressed me with his high degree of efficiency. Extremely on-the-ball and constantly doing something that needed to be done without ever taking his eyes off the customers. Very impressed. Everyone was great, as was my meal. My matcha latte was "handmade", not a pre-mix. I brought home their current "whoopie pie" (coffee & walnut in the filling with chocolate chip-like cookies minus the chocolate chips) - out of this world delicious.
This was a quite a gem of a bakery! The service was wonderful, the decor is charming, it’s much larger inside than it seems from outside, the coffee was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. We were treated to breakfast here by family, but my husband and I will absolutely be back. The espresso pie is heavenly.
Great customer service, parking was easy in the lot next door, and the food was amazing. We had a lavender latte and the syrup is made in-house. It was creamy and delicious. Tried the veggie hash and the farmhouse sandwich. Both were fantastic. You’ve got to try the bacon honey butter on the biscuits - trust us!
Buttercloud Café never disappoints! I tried their Eggs Benedict this time — perfectly poached eggs and fresh greens, topped with creamy hollandaise sauce. The flavors were spot on — rich, buttery, and balanced. The side of fresh orange slices was a nice refreshing touch. We also ordered an omelet with a side biscuit and jam, and it was just as amazing. The omelet was fluffy and flavorful, with melted cheese and diced tomatoes adding a perfect texture. The biscuit was golden, soft, and flaky — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere!
The place has a great vibe. The food was very good and the portions are good sized. Friendly service. The coffee was great!!! The window you can sit at and watch the bakery is pretty cool as well, the bathrooms were nice and clean.
We ordered our wedding cakes from Buttercloud and they were absolutely beautiful and DELICIOUS, with decorations that were exactly as we hoped! The whole process was easy and Kim was very friendly and helpful. I can’t believe how affordable these were as well. Beyond thankful!
